Oh the Adventures of Cooking

Disclaimer: I intend to use thick and heavy sarcasm in this post. If sarcasm offends you, read no further. Oh, wait, that's how all my posts are! Who would've thunk? Anyway, cooking. Fun stuff. I love when I actually put forth some effort to cook a good, well-balanced meal and then it turns out I don't really want to eat it. So wasteful. I made a pseudo-tin foil dinner tonight. It was fine really. Just didn't have a lot of flavor.

I just spent the last hour or two making ridiculous videos with my roommate. It was really fun, but now there are several ridiculous videos of me attempting to sing and just being the all-around nutcase that I am.

Is it okay if I just accept that I'm a cynic and live with that? No matter what I write about, if I don't really focus, I always manage to put a negative spin on things. hmmm, I'm thinking I never should have told anyone I had a blog. I set it up in the first place as more of a personal journal than a let-my-family-know-what's-going-on thing. Now I have to actually think a bit about what I write seeing as there are people who read it. I wish I could write posts like Maren, which are hilarious and happy. I have an idea! How about you(meaning everyone) only read my blog when you're having a bad day and need someone to wallow with. I'm good at that!
